United Independent Taxi was set up in July 1977. In this year 100 independently - licensed taxi drivers together formed their own taxi- for- hire operation. Being the owners as well as the drivers, they offer the highest levels of quality, courtesy and service.

Having the most convenient taxi service in Los Angeles, a computerized dispatch system and credit- card facility is provided in each vehicle. The motto of the taxi is to provide complete customer satisfaction.

United Taxi has risen to great heights under democratic, non- profit principles. A President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corporate Secretary and Board of Directors are elected who further supervise all the actions in order to have a smooth working of the United Taxi.

Living up to the expectation of the customers, they provide caring and professional service. This has helped them to grow and the overwhelming result is that United Taxi has over 500 vehicles in Los Angeles.
