Traxx which is located on the eastern edge of downtown Los Angeles, is a perfect blend of food, hospitality and traditions of Southern California. The fine structure is a fusion of Spanish colonial art deco and streamline Modern architecture that reflect California's past history, heritage and future dreams. The restaurant since 1997 is recalling its renaissance and taking the population back to the historic roots. The near by shops, cultural heritage centers, traditional venues, antique workshops and exhibits add excitement in the minds of the visitors and locals. With delicious delicacies like Chef Tara Thomas' crab cakes are among the city's best: odd shaped balls coated with Japanese bread crumbs and deep fried to a golden brown, bite into them and at first there is only air, a magical illusion that gives way to seductive, creamy crab meat, the house- cured pork chop is another winner, all salty sweetness and tender meat, coated with caramelized nubbins of prosciutto and rosemary. On the lighter side, there is a stunning ahi tuna napoleon featuring crispy wontons and topped with neon- green wasabi caviar. Not only food wise, this place is designed with a complete aesthetic sense with dazzling and breathtaking colors that enchant your eyes and allure your senses into the great bar and restaurant.
