Cicada combines the art of 1920's with contemporary designs of north, the restaurant is a great treat. With the elegant beauty of the 30 foot ceiling to beautifully designed bar and lounge, here the European style is complimented by north Italian menu. You can enjoy your privacy during a business meeting with a partner or a client as the setting of the furniture is very far apart. Not only liked by businessmen, even by lovers and families, the privacy is highly appreciated and that too creates the warmth of a luxurious setting. The restaurant with beautiful interiors has marbled dance floors, vaulted ceilings, wooden columns and lalique glass doors give it a splendid and royal look. The menu includes Italian feats like pastas such as the pappardelle with lobster, smoked duck breast medallions, marinated tuna and mint, tarragon crab cakes et al. Chef Christian Shaffer, who earned his stripes as part of The Patina Group, finishes off the affair in style, with chocolate soufflé cake in a coffee cream sauce, topped with a dollop of whipped cream - - just the thing you need before you squeeze into a narrow symphony- hall chair for several hours. For all those who visit Cicada does not miss the dessert, because even the dessert here is a specialty.
