New Revenue Stream: Guest Parking Passes

A reader writes in about another new revenue stream employed by the City of LA. We're sticking behind our idea to open the LA River Amusement Park. Via the inbox: "Just went to get guest parking permits for an upcoming party. Within the last 2 years the guest day passes were /pc, then sometime in the last year I recall they went to .50. No biggie. This morning I found out they are now .50/pc!!!! 40 permits cost me 0! WTF?? Is this city budget issues? It’s like the airline industry now
