The J. Paul Getty Museum is a place to explore art making and art history through European paintings, drawings, sculptures, manuscripts, arts and photographs.

Various educational programs, exhibitions, publications are organized to give meaning to art. The Getty Museum offers workshops and professional development programs that help to incorporate the study of art & explore art.

Standard strollers and wheelchairs are available on a first come first serve basis. Child- carrying backpacks are not allowed in the galleries. Special tours geared for community groups with families are available with advance registration. The Cafe at the Getty Villa offers a "bambino" menu for children.

Admission to the Getty Center is FREE—no tickets or reservations required for general admission.

Museum Hours: Tue–Thur and Sun: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m; Fri- Sat
10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Closed Monday and on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25.
